Let's give a salute to our outstanding, 15" tall, jointed composition,
military soldier doll, circa 1942
, manufactured by
Freundlich Novelty Corp., New York, N.Y.
Part of a small series of patriotic dolls with
molded
hats produced during World War II, he is in extremely good overall condition with excellent detail to the modeling of his features with blue eyes and light brown hair beneath his cap. He has had no repainting or repairs and retains all of his original uniform including shirt
with pockets,
tie
and trousers matching brown leatherette belt, (just needs shoes and socks).
Excellent overall condition with no damages or repairs.
