The Sebring Pottery Vintage Chantilly 1T-S284 22K Gold 8 3/4” Vegetable Bowl

Description

A beautiful vegetable or serving bowl in the Chantilly pattern 1T-S284 depicts a Victorian couple in a garden. This pattern is also known as the courting couple. The top edge of the bowl is adorned with Warranted 22 K Gold trim in a lace pattern.
The bowl measures 8 3/4” in diameter X 2 1/2” tall and was made by The Sebring Pottery Co. of Sebring, Ohio in the 1940.
In  excellent preowned vintage condition (70+ yrs. old) there are no cracks or crazing. There are several old flea bites to the top edge and very minimal wear to the gold trim. I have only found a couple minor scratches to the bottom inside of the bowl.

Make sure you look carefully at the pattern to assure it matches your pattern, as several different ones were made.Due to the fact the bowl is very shiny it was hard to capture the real beauty in the photos.
