This will fit perfectly with your civic Year 99 or 2000.... This came form a stick shift 5 speed D16Y8 engine swap that came in a civic year model 99 Ex manual transmission.
It can also be a great choice for those of you with a civic 99 to 2000 that are looking to convert over to B series Vtec or non Vtec. This item has zero damage. It was removed from a running vehicle that was designated to go to the local junk, due to being involved in an auto accident and written off by the insurance company, due to damage exceeding the vehicles blue book value.
For the B series Vtec swap, you need to stretch the Vtec plug and the Vtec oil pressure switch plug just a bit, based on the Bseries Vtec solenoid location on the head versus the Vtec solenoid location on the single can Vtec type heads. I have had it this way for over 2 years and I have had no problems. Professional installation is always recommended.
