75" Fixed Spread Lifting Beam,Engine load Leveler/ Roll Load Leveler hoist beam

You are bidding on 1 USED 75" long beam made of 3" Round Tube with 2"x 1/2" Slat Steel Beam solid welded Construction with 2- approx 44" 5/16" Chains & 2 - 5/16" clevis mounted slip hooks on the end of each. 3" Loop on top Heavy duty 3/4" center lifting hook or bail.
This weighs 84bs. Lift capacity??? ( see below) we can only guess because these are older units and have been repainted so many times we can't find any rating. I would think the 5/16" chain is the limiting factor now, If I had the extra chain I would put 3/8" chain on this bar and it should be safe at a higher end of the weight but use at your own risk. This is an OLDER WELL MADE UNIT.
Buy a few items and ship by truck for added savings.
I have 1 of these left, they were used with a 1 ton hoist, 2 ton hoist, 3 ton hoist and maybe even a 5 ton hoist? They had over 25 hoists and more than 20 slings and load levelers at a business that was operating in NJ since the 1970's, they closed last year. I have 3 power hoists, 1/2 ton to 1 ton and 8 manual hoists also.  I have units with the center single hook 5/8", 3/4" or 1" thick and the double side chains are 5/16" or 3/8" beam length from 61" to 82". The lowest grade 5/16" chain and hook I could find was grade 30 1900 lb rating, 3/8" was 2650 lbs for grade 30.  Based on that you could be safe assuming 3800 lbs to 5300 lbs. on the low end. the high end could be over 10,000 lbs.These units are all well made with no damage noticed. ONLY YOU CAN DECIDE IF THESE ARE APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR NEEDS,
