Plastic boards have a non-porous nature that results in the surface becoming knife-scarred over time, making it harder to clean bacteria out of grooves. However, with a wood cutting board such as this, food-safe mineral oil (sold separately) can easily be applied to mitigate bacteria growth and increase the longevity of your board. Optional beeswax conditioner (sold separately) is also recommended for optimizing the hygiene of your board.

FREIGHT items must be inspected upon delivery. If you notice unlikely damage, you should refuse the delivery and note the damage on the shipping receipt and send it back via the freight company. Returns will not be accepted on FREIGHT items after they have been delivered, inspected and the driver has left the building.
