    Description

    This is a pair of Michigan commercial half-year
    license plates from 1978
    .    The numbers are high on the plate because of all the different large stickers that went below the number.  Such as "Wrecker" or a GVW sticker such as "24 ton" or "72 ton" and so on.
    The plates are in excellent condition.  I see no evidence around the holes that they were ever mounted.

    Upon request, I will include the business card of a plate collector/restorer in the Grand Rapids Michigan area that you can have these plates restored at a very competitive price.  I've known him for several years back when I was selling car literature at swap meets.  His license plate display always looks very nice and I know he does all of his restorations.
