A pretty composition doll from the 1940's in a 1940's rayon hostess robe & pajamas outfit.
This doll has a lot of good qualities, but she needs some repairs.  She has the potential to be a very pretty, large vintage composition doll.
Marks - on upper back - 20 & a star shape. No other markings.
Jointed arms, legs & neck.  Blue sleep eyes.  Open smiling mouth w/4 teeth & red felt tongue.  Mohair wig (glued-on_ in a pretty shade of dark auburn.  Lightly "blushed" cheeks & knees.
Condition - wig needs to be brushed, but is good.  Eyes & teeth good.  Missing compo chip near eye & lip paint worn.  Has all fingers & toes.  Hands/fingers good.  Minor compo cracking on arms.  1 small compo crack on tummy.  Otherwise, torso is good. Legs are good.  Compo chip on edge of right toes.  Compo crack on bottom of right foot.
This doll is strung - stringing is a little loose, but overall good.
Clothing - 3 pieces - robe, top, pants.  No labels.  Light French lavender rayon w/a print of tiny red rosebuds.  Clothing is in good condition.
